First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether different ways to strengthen feet—like special exercises, a foot-strengthening device called ToePro, or wearing minimalist shoes—can improve balance and walking in adults aged 45 to 85. Researchers want to see if these methods reduce fall risk. Participants will do their assigned activity five days a week for eight weeks and have their foot strength, balance, and walking tested before and after.
