Scientists probe how your shoes squish your feet
NCT ID NCT06746597
Summary
This study aims to understand how walking with special air-cushioned insoles changes the skin on the bottom of the foot. Researchers will measure the thickness and stiffness of foot skin in 20 healthy participants before and after they walk with insoles set to different air pressures. The goal is to see which pressure level and walking time causes the most change in the skin.
