Summary

This study looks at whether gentle foot massage (reflexology) can help comfort newborns who have suffered brain injury from lack of oxygen and are being treated with body cooling. About 84 stable newborns will either receive standard care or standard care plus foot reflexology sessions. Researchers will measure the babies' comfort levels and vital signs like heart rate and breathing to see if the massage makes a difference.
