Scientists check if feet hold clues to scoliosis
NCT ID NCT07172048
Summary
This study aims to understand if the way a teenager with scoliosis stands and distributes weight on their feet is connected to the specific pattern of their spinal curve. Researchers will measure foot pressure in 84 teens diagnosed with scoliosis while they stand still. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help explain how the body adapts to a curved spine, not to test a treatment.
