New needle technique shows promise for stubborn foot pain
NCT ID NCT07351331
Summary
This study tested two different needle-based treatments for people with chronic pain in a small foot muscle. Forty adults received either Intratissue Percutaneous Electrolysis (IPE) or Dry Needling (DN). Researchers measured foot pressure and muscle activity, finding that IPE led to better improvements in both areas after 4 and 12 weeks.
