Tape and training tested to lift dropped feet
NCT ID NCT07191301
Summary
This study tested if adding a specific movement technique (PNF) to a standard rehab program of strength training and kinesio tape could better help people with foot drop. Foot drop is caused by damage to the peroneal nerve, making it hard to lift the front of the foot when walking. Researchers compared the two therapy combinations in 48 young adults to see which improved leg strength and function more.
