Summary
This study looks at whether watching food-related TV shows after abdominal surgery can help the bowels start working again sooner. About 150 adults will be randomly assigned to either watch food programming during meals or receive standard care. Researchers will track bowel function, hospital stay length, and patient satisfaction to see if food visuals aid recovery.
