New food supplement aims to ease monthly PMS misery

Summary

This study tests whether a food supplement can reduce the severity of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms in 110 healthy women aged 18-45 with mild to moderate PMS. Half of the participants take the active supplement and half take a placebo for three menstrual cycles. The main outcome is change in PMS symptom scores using a standard questionnaire.
