Summary
This study aims to understand how a person's food preferences and cravings might influence their risk of becoming undernourished while undergoing treatment for advanced lung cancer. Researchers will follow 190 patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer who are starting first-line treatment. They will use questionnaires to assess cravings for different food types (like salty or sweet, high or low fat) and monitor patients' nutritional status over six months to see if there's a connection.
