Could eating eggs before toast tame pregnancy diabetes?
NCT ID NCT06896799
Summary
This study is testing if the order you eat food affects blood sugar spikes in women with gestational diabetes. Participants will eat the same breakfast twice, but change whether they eat scrambled eggs before or after wholemeal toast. Researchers will measure blood sugar, hormones, and appetite to see if one order works better for controlling diabetes during pregnancy.
