First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding color-coded nutrition labels (like traffic lights) to food products helps people make healthier choices when shopping for groceries online. About 395 adults in Bahrain completed a one-time shopping trip in a simulated online store. The goal was to see if those who saw the labels bought items with less sugar, fat, and salt compared to those who shopped without labels.
