Can a traffic light on your food make you healthier?
NCT ID NCT06440421
Summary
This study tested whether adding simple, color-coded nutrition labels to food products helps people make healthier choices while grocery shopping. Researchers used a simulated online store called Bahrain e-Mart with 395 adult shoppers. Half saw products with standard labels, while the other half saw products with 'traffic light' labels (green for healthy, red for unhealthy amounts of sugar, fat, and salt).
