Do warning labels on food help or harm eating disorder recovery?
NCT ID NCT07339969
Summary
This online study aims to understand how different food labels affect the choices and emotional responses of people with eating disorders. Researchers will recruit 246 UK adults with a current or past eating disorder diagnosis to complete an online task where they make hypothetical food choices. Participants will be randomly shown foods with warning labels, traffic light labels, or no labels to see which system most influences healthier choices and emotional reactions.
