First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at whether a 6-month program with a Nurturing Care Family Navigator can help low-income new moms who struggle with food insecurity. About 72 postpartum women will either get one-on-one navigation sessions plus an educational workbook, or just the workbook. The goal is to see if the extra support improves food security, knowledge, and confidence in getting community resources.
