Scientists test if breakfast changes how your body uses a new heart pill
NCT ID NCT07043634
Summary
This study tested how eating food affects the way the body absorbs a new, combined pill for heart failure. Healthy adult volunteers took the pill once with a high-fat meal and once on an empty stomach. Researchers measured drug levels in blood and urine to see if food changes how much medicine gets into the system.
