Scientists test if meals change how schizophrenia drug works
NCT ID NCT06036108
Summary
This study checked whether eating a meal changes how the body absorbs a new, once-weekly version of the schizophrenia medication brexpiprazole. It involved 59 adults with stable schizophrenia who took the drug once while fasting and once after a high-fat meal. The main goal was to measure drug levels in the blood under both conditions to guide future dosing instructions.
