Can a 'Food Navigator' fight childhood disease?
NCT ID NCT07162350
Summary
This study tests if connecting families with a 'food navigator' can improve diet quality and health in children at risk for chronic diseases. It will involve 250 children (ages 8-15) and their caregivers in South Dallas, comparing the food support program to usual medical care. Researchers will measure changes in diet, food security, stress, and health markers like weight and blood pressure over 12 months.
