First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at children born with a single-ventricle heart defect who need a series of surgeries ending with the Fontan procedure. Researchers want to see if having too little or too much blood flow to the lungs before surgery affects survival, complications, and quality of life afterward. About 52 children will be followed for 1.5 years after their final surgery.
