First seen Nov 28, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding fomepizole to the usual treatment (acetylcysteine) could reduce liver injury in people who took too much acetaminophen (like Tylenol). It included 29 adults and children aged 10 and older at high risk for liver damage. The trial was stopped early, so results are limited.
