NCT ID NCT02350530
First seen May 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding bevacizumab to a three-drug chemotherapy (FOLFOXIRI) could shrink liver tumors enough to allow surgery in people with a specific genetic type (RAS mutation) of colorectal cancer that had spread only to the liver. 138 adults with initially inoperable liver metastases took part. The goal was to see if the combination increased the number of patients who could have their liver tumors completely removed.
