Precision radiation could spare men from future prostate cancer treatments

NCT ID NCT07152067

Summary

This study is testing whether a highly focused form of radiation can reduce the need for future treatments in men with early-stage prostate cancer. Men who would normally just be monitored (active surveillance) will be randomly assigned to either receive the targeted radiation or continue with monitoring. The main goal is to see if the radiation treatment lowers the chance that a man will need a more invasive treatment later on.
