Short, sharp blast of radiation aims to zap returning prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT05746806

Summary

This study is testing a new, shorter radiation treatment for men whose prostate cancer has come back in the area where the prostate was removed. The treatment involves just five high-dose radiation sessions, combined with six months of hormone-blocking drugs. Researchers want to see if this approach is effective at keeping the cancer under control and safe for patients.
