Second-Chance radiation: a precise new attack on recurrent prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT03312972

Summary

This study is testing a precise, targeted form of radiation for men whose prostate cancer has returned after previous radiation treatment. The goal is to see if this approach can control the cancer while causing fewer side effects. The treatment involves placing a tiny, temporary radioactive source directly into the area of the prostate where the cancer has come back.
