New hope for stubborn seizures? Real-World drug study launches
NCT ID NCT06716801
Summary
This study aims to see how well a medication called cenobamate works for adults whose focal epilepsy seizures are not well controlled by their current drugs. Researchers will follow 300 patients in France, Germany, and Spain for a year to track how many seizures they have, the drug's safety, and its impact on their daily life and sleepiness. The goal is to understand the real-world benefits and risks of adding this medication to existing treatments.
