First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a procedure called foam sclerotherapy can reduce pain and improve quality of life for people with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) who have large, painful cysts in their kidneys or liver. About 100 adults with 1-3 large cysts will receive the foam treatment and be followed for up to 12 months. The goal is to see if shrinking these cysts helps with symptoms and daily well-being.
