First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) can safely remove multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) from the gut of 60 colonized patients. Participants will receive either FMT or a placebo in a double-blind design. The goal is to see if the transplant turns their lab tests negative for the superbug.
