NCT ID NCT05669846

First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a transplant of healthy gut bacteria (from donor stool) combined with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab can help people with advanced lung cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments. About 26 participants will receive the bacteria transplant and pembrolizumab to see if their tumors shrink. The goal is to improve the body's ability to fight cancer, but this is not a cure and ongoing management is expected.
