First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study explores whether a non-invasive skin test can detect long-term inflammation in people with Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF). Researchers will measure substances called AGEs in the skin and compare them to a blood-based inflammation marker (CALLY index). The study involves 150 participants (100 FMF patients and 50 healthy controls) and does not involve any treatment or medication.
