New ultrasound method may help doctors give fluids more precisely

Summary
This study is testing a new way to predict if critically ill patients need more fluids. Doctors will use a heart ultrasound to measure blood flow from the right side of the heart. They want to see if this measurement can tell them who will benefit from extra fluids. The study will include 205 adults in the hospital.
