Draining lung fluid: a new hope for easing heart failure suffering?
NCT ID NCT07419360
Summary
This study is testing whether a procedure to drain fluid from around the lungs helps hospitalized heart failure patients feel less short of breath. Researchers will compare standard medical treatment alone to standard treatment plus the fluid-draining procedure. They will measure how much the patients' breathing improves and track their recovery over 90 days.
