New tech aims to reduce heart risks for dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT06573567

Summary

This study tested whether using a special device (bioimpedance analysis) to guide fluid removal during dialysis could reduce serious complications. It involved 50 long-term dialysis patients. One group had their fluid targets set using the device's measurements, while the other group used standard methods based on symptoms.
