First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the type of intravenous (IV) fluid given to patients with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (a type of brain bleed) affects their recovery. The researchers want to see if a fluid with a different salt content can reduce dangerous complications like brain spasms and swelling. The trial will enroll 320 adults and compare two standard fluids to find out which leads to better outcomes.
