Summary
This study tested a new type of flu vaccine made using recombinant technology in people aged 9 to 49. The main goal was to see if the vaccine triggered a strong immune response in children and teens that was at least as good as the response in adults. Researchers also closely monitored the safety of the vaccine in all 1,308 participants over about six months.
