Flu shot tested for vulnerable cystic fibrosis patients
NCT ID NCT01499914
Summary
This study aimed to see how well the H1N1 flu vaccine protected people with cystic fibrosis, a serious lung condition. Researchers followed about 1,000 patients, including children and pregnant women, during the 2009-2010 flu season. They checked if the vaccine prevented the flu, how safe it was, and how the patients' bodies responded to it.
