Scientists test which flu shot works best for seniors
NCT ID NCT02872311
Summary
This study aimed to understand how well different licensed flu vaccines protect adults aged 65-74 over two consecutive flu seasons. About 180 participants received one of three available vaccines in the first year, with some receiving the same or a different vaccine in the second year. Researchers measured immune response by taking blood samples before and after vaccination to see how long protection lasted.
