Stand up to COPD: new No-Cost exercise program aims to ease breathing

NCT ID NCT07277855

Summary

This study is testing a new, simple exercise program for people with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) in North Africa. The program involves practicing standing up from the floor, a movement common in daily life, to improve strength, breathing, and mobility. Researchers want to see if this low-cost, culturally familiar approach helps patients stick with their exercises and improves their health over 9 weeks and 18 months.
