New gel aims to heal childbirth tears faster

Summary
This study tests a gel called Flaminal Forte to see if it helps heal and prevent infections in cuts (episiotomies) made during childbirth. About 60 women who had a forceps or vacuum-assisted birth will use the gel. Researchers will check healing and ask about pain and satisfaction.
