Scientists find better way to test women Footballers' fitness
NCT ID NCT07390149
Summary
This study compared two different fitness tests to see which one better measures the specific physical demands of women's football. Twenty-seven elite female football players from Turkey's top league completed both a traditional treadmill test and a newer field-based test that includes stops, starts, and direction changes. Researchers measured heart rate, oxygen use, and recovery to determine which test provides more useful information for training and performance monitoring.
