Summary

This study tests a mobile app called FirstFocus that uses attention training to help first responders in rural areas prevent stress and distress during their shifts. About 80 active first responders aged 18 and older who own an iPhone will use the app and report their stress levels and satisfaction. The goal is to see if the app is easy to use and can improve wellbeing and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression over time.
