Decade-Long study aims to predict who needs surgery after a shoulder pops out

NCT ID NCT07486440

Summary

This study aims to better understand what happens after someone dislocates their shoulder for the first time. Researchers will follow 180 adults in Oslo, Norway, using advanced scans to see the bone and tissue damage, and track their recovery for up to 10 years. The goal is to learn which patients are most at risk for the shoulder dislocating again and how it affects their long-term shoulder health and quality of life.
