Firefighters face hidden dangers: major study probes link between job exposures and cancer
NCT ID NCT07270627
Summary
This study aims to understand how the dangerous exposures firefighters face on the job—like toxic smoke, chemicals, and extreme stress—affect their long-term health. Researchers will survey 15,000 active and former Paris military firefighters about their work history and health problems. The goal is to identify connections between specific job hazards and diseases, including certain cancers, to better protect firefighters in the future.
