Researchers aim to replace paper alert cards with digital system for safer anesthesia
NCT ID NCT07275567
Summary
This study aims to create a standard digital system for documenting when a patient has a difficult airway during anesthesia. Researchers are analyzing data from 1,785 patients who had breathing tubes placed to determine what information is most important to record. The goal is to replace inconsistent paper alert cards with a reliable digital system that helps doctors plan safer anesthesia for future procedures.
