New hope for protecting transplanted kidneys

NCT ID NCT07356388

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called finerenone can safely reduce protein in the urine (proteinuria) for people who have received a kidney transplant. Researchers will compare it to another drug, dapagliflozin, in 54 adult transplant recipients. The goal is to find better ways to protect the transplanted kidney from long-term damage.
