Study seeks perfect pain relief dose for big abdominal incisions

Summary
This study aims to find the best dose of pain medicine given through an epidural after open abdominal surgery. About 60 adults having a large belly incision will receive different doses to see which works best for pain control on the first day after surgery. The goal is to improve recovery and comfort, and the study will also check if men and women need different doses.
