Cash for clean tests: pilot study pays people to stay off drugs

NCT ID NCT05787847

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether offering money could help people who use stimulants like meth or cocaine to stop. Researchers worked with 27 people who visited a syringe exchange program. One group could earn cash for providing drug-free urine tests, while another group just received health education, to see which approach worked better.
