Summary
This study aims to create new questionnaires to help identify financial hardship in people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and their caregivers. Researchers will interview and survey thousands of patients and caregivers to understand the unique financial strains caused by the disease, such as care costs and lost income. The goal is to develop better screening tools so doctors and support services can more easily spot and help families struggling with these hidden costs.
