NCT ID NCT07586553
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether the Figure-of-8 Walk Test is a reliable tool for measuring balance and walking ability in older adults with Motoric Cognitive Risk Syndrome (MCRS), a condition that raises the risk of dementia. Researchers will test 52 volunteers aged 65 and older who have mild memory complaints and walk slowly. The goal is to see if this simple test can help doctors assess movement and thinking together.
