New 15-minute plague test could save lives in remote congo villages

Summary
This study will test a new rapid diagnostic test for plague in the Ituri province of DR Congo. Researchers will collect samples (blood, saliva, mouth swab, bubo fluid, and sputum) from 300 people with suspected plague to see how well the new test works compared to standard lab methods. The goal is to help doctors diagnose plague faster and more accurately in remote areas.
