Summary

This study is testing if giving children a fidget toy of their choice before surgery can help reduce their anxiety and stress. It will involve 500 children aged 5-15 who are having elective surgery. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug distraction can make the hospital experience easier for kids and improve their recovery.
