New ankle repair system may let patients walk sooner after surgery

Summary
This study tests a new device called the Fibulink Syndesmosis Repair System in 56 adults with certain ankle fractures or ligament injuries. The goal is to see if the device keeps the ankle bones properly aligned while allowing patients to start full weight-bearing as early as 4 weeks after surgery, which is sooner than current standard care. Participants will be followed for 6 months to check healing and alignment.
